River, lakes, groves – excellent choice and hunting passion

eautiful groves and woods are spread on 1000 hectares of land on the left side of a bridge along the river Iori on the way to Davit Gareji Monastery complex. The area of 800 ha is enclosed. Here you will see the Hunting farm where you can go hunting and fishing.
In Dedoplistskharo, about 2,5 hours away from Tbilisi, in the Iori gorge there is a grove occupying the area of 700 hectares which is the habitat for a lot of birds and animals – partridges, hares, pheasants, ducks, boars as well as predators – wolves, jackals, wild cats. You can hunt any of them to your choice.
In Dedoplistskharo, similar to Sagharejo, partridge hunting season is from August 20 until the beginning of October. The enterprise undertakes the obligation to help you find a good hunting place, give you hunting dogs, weapons (if you require) and bullets and offer you lodging place with meals included.
The hunter’s hotel can host 12-15 people. Here you’ll get comfortable rooms, hot water, meals.

You’ll be able to hunt wild boar, pheasants, different kinds of water birds (geese, ducks), as well as predators such as wolves, jackals, wild cats, and foxes…
Hunting season starts from the second half of October and lasts until January 1. You can go on with boar hunting until February 1 from special watch towers. In the special enclosure of the hunting farm, they breed Colchian pheasants.
Wild boar hunting is organized by farm staff using driven hunt and specially trained dogs. You can hunt the selected species from watch towers at dusk or at night.
People can also hunt animals for their fur according to a certain schedule, which makes it possible to regulate their number and maintain useful hunting areas. Every year we carry out monitoring on birds and animals and provide a zoological auditor’s conclusion. Hunting enterprise carries out its activities in full compliance with legislation.
Hunting farm will provide transport for you to go animal and bird hunting, as well as instructors, dogs and chasseurs. If you wish to get individual attendance, you should contact the game husbandry on the phone or by the internet in advance. When placing such an order, you can negotiate the price for the organized tour according to your specific requirements.
There is a full package of services on offer for foreign guests. It includes meeting at the airport, accommodating them in one of Tbilisi hotels, taking to the hunting place, providing hotel, dogs and necessary hunting equipment. Browning and Baikal weapons are provided. Certainly, the service includes treating the guests to traditional Georgian meals. If there is a wish, the guests will be provided with self-catering facilities, where they will be able to prepare meals from the game they hunt.

Those who love fishing will occur in a pleasant atmosphere and fauna. In artificial ponds they breed carp, white amur.
In the rivers you can find khramuli, barbell, carp and many different kinds of fish.
At fishermen’s disposal there is a hotel cottage (it can accommodate 8 people at the same time). The cottage has resting facilities, well-equipped kitchen and a fireplace.
